Camera Records is a New York City based independent record label located in lower Manhattan, two blocks from the mighty Hudson River, in Greenwich Village.

"This is a labor of love for us," says label owner Jon Salter. "Our goal is to bring you artists that we deeply believe in, musical recordings that have inspired and seduced us & songs that we have fallen in love with.... Sensations and Court and Spark Limited Edition Audiophile Vinyl LP's are both available now through the Camera Records store. The Mother Hips are hunkered down in the studio mixing their new record in San Francisco for the month of September. They wrapped up tracking sessions in late May, and are now focused on getting the right mixes together. The release date for the new LP is looking like the early side of 2007 (Feb/March), with some national touring to follow. Camera Records is in discussions with a Japanese label for potential release in Japan.
