It's
only natural that Levy would be drawn to musicians and material with such
a rich pedigree - he has an notable musical lineage of his own. As a child
growing up in Los Angeles, Levy attended recording sessions with his grandfather,
George Wyle - a successful composer and arranger who
wrote two American classics, the Christmas standard "It's the Most
Wonderful Time of the Year," and the theme song to "Gilligan's
Island." It was on those outings that Levy became enchanted with
the recording process, and the special camaraderie that musicians share
with each other.
